  • Brinsworth garden: Blackcap - 1 - 1 male feeding and bathing, only 2nd time in 20+ years ; Greenfinch - 2 - on feeder
  • Chatsworth Park: Redwing - 30 ; Brambling - 4
  • Edge Mount: Redwing - c60 - feeding with Fieldfares. ; Fieldfare - c100 ; Mistle Thrush - 2
  • Green Moor: Lapwing - 15 - Feeding in field together
  • Hangingwater garden: Blackcap - 1 - m singing full song
  • Hassop: 319 - 4 ; Raven - 1
  • High Bradfield: Meadow Pipit - 2 - feeding in fields near brewery.
  • Low Common: Kestrel - 1 - male into N edge of Rockingham Wood.
  • Malin Bridge: Blackcap - 1 - male coming to fatballs for second day.

  • Middle Common: 319 - 3 - 2 together calling between Scholes Coppice and Shepherd's Plantation, joined by one from Cinder Hills.

  • Morley Pond: Great Crested Grebe - 2 ; Mute Swan - 1 ; Mallard - 30+ ; Tufted Duck - 5 - 2 female
  • Orgreave Lakes: Lapwing - 54 ; Herring Gull - 166 - Pre roost ; Great Black-backed Gull - 26 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 ; Grey Partridge - 1 - Calling at dusk
  • Peat Pits: Golden Plover - c140 - highest count so far this winter but numbers well down on previous years.
