  • Aldwarke: Peregrine - 1 - Sat on Liberty Steels melting shop roof 12.50 ; Goldfinch - 20 - On feeders
  • Bingham Park: 320 - 2 - At Ibbotson pond. I've not seen along the valley before.
  • Brightside Lane: Peregrine - 2 - Displaying over Forgemasters, one calling from perch, other climbing high and swooping down for at least 10 mins
  • Burbage Valley: Red Kite - 1 - Drifting south along eastern edge of valley
  • Greystones garden: Blackcap - 5 - 4M,1F seen together in observer's garden
  • Hathersage Moor: Kestrel - 1 ; Red Grouse - 1 - heard
  • Middleton Moor: Shelduck - 2 - a pair ; 320 - 48 ; Lapwing - 44
  • Norton Lees: Redwing - 5
  • Pingle Lane Tip: Yellowhammer - 1 ; Skylark - 8 - in surrounding fields, including 3 singing birds
  • R Derwent, Leadmill to Grindleford: Dipper - 6 ; Mandarin - 5 ; Goosander - 1m ; 321 - 1 ; 319 - 1 - in flight
  • R Don, Salmon Pastures: Goosander - 3 - 2 males and a female
  • Rawmarsh; Rockcliffe Road: Blue Tit - 2 - investigating nest box
  • Redmires Top Res: Black-headed Gull - 200+ - Roosting & preening joined by others all the time ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 20+ - Joining roost of black-headed gulls
