Parkgate; Great Eastern Way: Kestrel - 1 - female, W/NW

Parkgate; Stubbin incline: Goldfinch - c20 - flock, several singing ; Chaffinch - 2 ; Kestrel - 1 - female, hunting ; Skylark - 1 - singing over adjacent field

Rawmarsh Cemetery: Long-tailed Tit - 6+ - flock

Redmires Res: Black-headed Gull - 240 - c. roosted on Top Res ; Greylag Goose - 96 - including bird (distant) with orange neckring with black lettering - this appears to be from a joint ringing project between WWT / Icelandic Institute of Natural History where birds are ringed in Iceland and the UK by Highland Ringing Group to track their movements

Barlow Common: Tawny Owl - 1 - heard and fleetingly seen just after midnight.

Rother Valley CP: Whooper Swan - 1 - On main lake with a pair of Mute Swans

Stannington, west: Fieldfare - 100+ - A few Redwing and Starlings also present
