  • Thrybergh CP: Oystercatcher - 1
  • Thrybergh Tip: Sparrowhawk - 1 - circling over @ 0850hrs ; Common Buzzard - 1 - circling over @ 0845hrs
  • Treeton meadows: Little Egret - 2 - feeding on pools at the western end.
  • Ughill: Barn Owl - 1 - remains in plantation, c10 flight feathers and a leg with BTO ring. Ringed by Sorby Breck in 2022 as a nestling near Hathersage.
  • Ughill Moors: Curlew - 1 - calling
  • Whiston Meadows: Treecreeper - 1
  • White Edge Lodge: Red Kite - 1 - Heading low to north
  • Wyming Brook: Siskin - 2 - males singing

  • Barlow Common: Peregrine - 1 - showing very well ; Kingfisher - 1 ; Grey Wagtail - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 7 ; Goldcrest - 1
  • Brownhills Lane: Greylag Goose - c50 - inc orange neck collared HSP
  • Catcliffe Flash: Egyptian Goose - 4 ; Tufted Duck - 8+
  • Ecclesfield: Ring-necked Parakeet - 1 - Calling in obs garden, Cross Hill, then flew south.
  • Green Moor: Little Owl - 2 - 2 traditional roosts, one slightly out of our area ; Fieldfare - 40+ ; Grey Wagtail - 1
  • Kimberworth Park: Pied Wagtail - 2 - active around St Johns Green

  • Norfolk Heritage Park: Ring-necked Parakeet - 1 - 1 over Granville Road heading into park

  • Sharrow: Pink-footed Goose - 1+ - Substantial sounding flock heard over at 18:30, probably heading east/south-east
