Low Moor, Upper Midhope: Snipe - 1 - Chipping at dusk

Orgreave Lakes: Herring Gull - 171 - At 17.00 in including the hybrid/ lucistic bird. ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 2 - At 17.00. ; Great Crested Grebe - 4 - 2 pairs displaying. ; Goldeneye - 3 - 1 adult male displaying. ; Redshank - 1

Owler Bar: Barn Owl - 1 - At 6.15pm

Peat Pits: Golden Plover - c50

Pit-house West: Water Rail - 2+ - sharming ; Little Grebe - 1 - trilling - Bittern Pool ; Tawny Owl - 1 - daytime hooting

R Don, Effingham St: Goosander - 6 - 4M, 2F below Effingham St weir ; Coot - 1 - Albernistic bird showing a few white feathers. ; Kingfisher - 1 ; Mallard - 18 ; Mute Swan - 2 - adults on river early pm but no sign later. Yellow colour rings Y351 and Y332. ; Coot - 1 - on river, rare here. Some white flecks on the head and breast.

R Don, Norfolk Bridge: Dipper - 1 - Feeding by weir and singing briefly. Ring on right leg

Rother Valley CP: Goldeneye - 6 - Meadowgate Lake ; Pink-footed Goose - 1 - with Graylags on Intermediate Pond ; Kingfisher - 1 - on R Rother ; Goldeneye - 8 - Meadowgate Lake ; Oystercatcher - 1 - at least one on main lake island under trees.
