Ladybower Res, North arm: Redwing - 12 ; Mistle Thrush - 1 ; Finch sp - c30 - mixed flock of Brambling & Chaffinch ; Cormorant - 1 ; Tawny Owl - 1 - calling

Ladybower Res, West arm: 321 - 1 ; Greenfinch - 1 - in tree by main road ; Redwing - c10 - feeding on hawthorn berries along roadside

Middleton Moor: 320 - 46 - Surface of lagoon 90% frozen ; Shelduck - 1

Onesmoor: Meadow Pipit - 12 ; Skylark - 17 ; Rook - 22 - feeding in surrounding fields.

Owlthorpe garden: Stock Dove - 2 - 2 in garden bordering Owlthorpe Fields ; Mistle Thrush - 2 ; Greenfinch - 4 ; Goldfinch - 15 ; Blue Tit - 1 ; Great Tit - 1 ; Woodpigeon - 5 ; Blackbird - 2 - Male and female. Male is a regular visitor, he can’t close his beak so he’s very easy to identify. ; Feral Pigeon - 2 ; Magpie - 2 - regular garden visitors.
