Redmires Res: Mallard - 17 ; 320 - 10 - including several smart males ; Sparrowhawk - 1 ; Kestrel - 1 ; Lapwing - 10 - c. on Middle Res ; Curlew - 1 - flew low over the Top Res calling at 08:55 hrs - gave 'bubbling' display before later being seen in fields on Soughley Lane ; Black-headed Gull - 60 - in fields ; Herring Gull - 1 ; Pink-footed Goose - 34 - flew low to the W calling at 09:05 hrs

Redmires Top Res: Black-headed Gull - 182 - Pre-roost; presumably stayed to dusk, but I didn’t!
