  • Attercliffe: Blackcap - 1 - Singing from a bush adjacent to a house on Brinsworth Street (just off Attercliffe Road).
  • Barbrook Valley: Whinchat - 1 - male ; Stonechat - 4 - 3m 1f ; Wheatear - 1
  • Beauchief: 319 - 2 - Over Beauchief Golf Course ; Grey Heron - 1 - Over BGC
  • Beighton/Swallownest: Swallow - 3 - N together, low over A57
  • Blacka Plantation: Wood Warbler - 1 - Sub-singing, good view, but fleeting. ; Siskin - 30+ - Feeding and calling in canopy ; Lesser Redpoll - 50+ - Churring in canopy. ; Pied Flycatcher - 3 - 2 male 1 singing. 1 female ; Green Woodpecker - 1 - Flew past then called briefly. ; Treecreeper - 4 - 2 in dispute. 1 singing ; Chiffchaff - 4 - 4 singing ; Curlew - 2 - 2 display flying and calling over head ; Goldcrest - 5 - 5 singing.

  • Fulwood Garden: Reed Bunting - pair - Pair feeding briefly ; Linnet - 1 - On feeder for short while. Male.
  • Green Moor: Fieldfare - 35+ - Feeding together in a field
  • Hay Wood: Siskin - 50+ - Noisy, active mixed flock of Siskin & Lesser Redpoll ; Chiffchaff - 1
  • Longshaw: Long-tailed Tit - 2
  • Orgreave Lakes: LONG-TAILED DUCK - 1 - on big, then small lake first thing. Later seen flying back towards Treeton Dyke. ; Wheatear - 2 - a pair ; Yellow Wagtail - 6 - at N end including a Blue-headed Wagtail. ; Pied Wagtail - 4 - including one 'White Wagtail' (alba) ; Yellow Wagtail - 14 - including one Channel/ Blue-headed ; Grey Heron - 1 - feeding on river
  • RVCP: Kingfisher - 1 - flew along Kermit Road at the Killamarsh end
  • Sheffield University: Peregrine - 3+ - Adult brought bird with ring on leg to eat & feed to chicks. Adult ate part of leg which included the ring!
  • Silverwood Lagoon: Reed Warbler - 5 - singing ; Sedge Warbler - 1 - singing
  • Treeton Dyke: LONG-TAILED DUCK - 1 - showing very well, 12.50 - 13.00, ; Lesser Whitethroat - 1 ; Whitethroat - 1 ; Gadwall - 3 ; House Martin - 1
  • Ulley CP: Willow Tit - 1 - colour-ringed - (Red over Yellow) at Morthen Arm feeders.
