Midhope Res: 320 - 2 - Pair ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - c40

Morley Pond: 319 - 1 - in from copse at Low Common ; Mute Swan - 1 - at Cascades ; Mallard - 130+ ; Lapwing - c20 - still in W end field

Orgreave Lakes: Goldeneye - 2 ; Lesser Redpoll - 20+ - In with mixed group of Goldfinch and Linnet. ; Kestrel - 4 - inc male with field vole. ; Goosander - 1 - male on small lake.

Redmires conduit: Lapwing - c30

Scholes Ground: Grey Heron - 6 - group in centre of field, moving to S edge when disturbed

Silverwood Lagoon: Cetti's Warbler - 1 - still singing occasionally

R Don, Effingham St: Goosander - 16 - Including one bird enjoying the crayfish's revenge. ; Goosander - 16 - The Crayfishes Revenge ; Feral Pigeon - 246 - Mainly sat on Wards roof and feeding on the western wall of the river. ; Mallard - 22 ; Black-headed Gull - 26 - 26 max but with lots of turnover. Mainly sat on Wards roof or feeding on the river.

Aldwarke; Liberty Steels: Sparrowhawk - 1 - circling over ; Raven - 2 - one flew N & settled on water tower at Roundwood @ 0740hrs, followed by a second bird.

Cartledge Stones Ridge - High Peak: Raven - 5 - Very vocal as they flew over, much calling, and what looked like chasing, possibly between 2 parents and this year's young?

Cowell Flat: Kestrel - 2 - hover hunting
