Middleton Moor: Lesser Black-backed Gull - Feb-00 - Large roost, birds still arriving at dusk. ; Yellow-legged Gull - 3 - adults ; Pied Wagtail - c100 - roost ; Yellow Wagtail - 1 ; Ringed Plover - 5 - dropped in at dusk ; Goosander - 3 - redheads, fem and 2 eclipse drakes in to roost

Brincliffe Edge Wood: 319 - 1 - At least one calling and circling over wood and Bannerdale.

Brownhills Lane: Starling - 350 - c350 (from photo) on wires; also feeding on rowan berries on Soughley Lane
