White Edge: House Martin - 30+ - flying southward along the White Edge escarpment

Woodhouse Washlands: 319 - 1 - On pylon 11.15am

Bramley: Black-headed Gull - 2 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 - Low over observers garden. ; Sparrowhawk - 2 - Large female attacked Collared Dove who escaped minus some tail feathers. ; Sparrowhawk - 2 - Male through garden 3 times. ; Swallow - 5 - Over towards Silverwood Lagoon.

Cinder Hills: Kestrel - 1 - appeared to drop prey, vole? from tree while feeding

Moss Road, Totley: Kestrel - 3 ; Green Woodpecker - 1 ; Jackdaw - 21 - Party of 21 North ; Swallow - 2 - North ; Stonechat - 9 - Spread out along the broken wall, top pasture. By far my highest ever count here. All dispersed by 11:00. ; Chiffchaff - 3 ; Blackcap - 1 ; Mistle Thrush - 4

Silverwood Lagoon: Dunlin - 2 - still on northern shoreline ; Wigeon - 5 ; Mute Swan - 4 - female and 3 juvs ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 ; Black-headed Gull - 60 ; Kestrel - 1 ; Common Buzzard - 2 ; Sparrowhawk - 1 ; Jay - 6 ; Woodpigeon - 200 - east in one flock ; Jackdaw - 8 - party north ; Canada Goose - 4 - west ; Skylark - c.25 - mostly south in ones and twos, one singing over fields to west ; Song Thrush - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 20 ; Goldcrest - 1 ; Reed Bunting - 6 ; Pheasant - 40+ - releases from local shoot moved to safety of pit top!
