Treeton: Willow Tit - 1 - Calling by scrapyard

Whirlow Hall Farm: Swallow - 30+? - Seemed to be everywhere: in and around treetops, over fields, etc. Also over adjoining Castle Dyke playing fields ; Goldfinch - 50+

Graves Park: Tufted Duck - 12 - female with small duckling (first reported by another observer last week) on upper pond, 4 middle pond (3 female, male), 6 lower pond (4 male, 2 female) ; Ring-necked Parakeet - 13+ - roost in lime tree by upper pond. Probably several more, 13 maximum visible amongst foliage at any one time ; Stock Dove - 4 - 1 singing in trees between Rose Cafe and lower pond, 3 round lower pond, 1 singing ; Little Grebe - 1 - adult breeding plumage lower pond

High Green: Grey Heron - 1 - Heard calling over house 3am

Orgreave Lakes: 320 - 6 ; Yellow Wagtail - 6 ; Little Egret - 2 ; Little Ringed Plover - 2 - 2 juvs ; Little Grebe - 5 ; Common Sandpiper - 1

Ramsley Moor: Chiffchaff - 5 - Including 1 singing ; Whitethroat - 3 ; Redstart - 1 - Juv ; Spotted Flycatcher - 4

Thrybergh CP: Tawny Owl - 1 - calling at 0130 and again at 2150

Whirlow Hall Farm: Peregrine - 1 - Feeding in middle of field. I couldn't identify the prey species, seemed to be a lot of pale grey feathers.
