Redmires Top Res: Common Sandpiper - 2 - Pair bathing and preening roadside

Endcliffe Student Village ~ pond: Moorhen - 12 - Adult, 5 well-grown first brood helping with 6 small second brood. Other adult no doubt on third clutch.

Fulwood garden: Peregrine - 2 - soaring over with Buzzard at 13:45

R Don, Effingham St: Canada Goose - 2 - pair together and nest empty, presumably failed

R Sheaf, Duchess Rd: Moorhen - 3 - I adult and 2 fledglings from nest situated in drain outlet into river opposite Riverside Park Industrial Estate.
