Canklow Woods: Barn Owl - 1 - hunting below boston castle 0620 ; Chiffchaff - 2 - singing

Forge Dam: Rook - 15+ - very active around rookery ; Jackdaw - c40 - attempting to board rookery but beaten off

Castle Dyke playing fields: Jay - 1 - In tree adjacent to playing fields. Suspected of mimicking a Buzzard, as I heard loud Buzzard calls coming from its direction but no sign of an actual Buzzard.
Catcliffe: 319 - 2 - Over from Junction 33 towards Treeton, some displaying. 13.45
