• Morley Pond: Great Crested Grebe - 2 ; Mute Swan - 2 - 1 pr ; Greylag Goose - 2 ; Mallard - 4+ ; Tufted Duck - 6 - 4 male ; Moorhen - 1+ ; Coot - 1+ ; Kingfisher - 1 - E along Cascades, prob from fallen tree in water @ Trowles. ; Black-headed Gull - 27

• Ravenfield Park: Black-headed Gull - 30+ - Very active flock over farmland wheeling and calling. ; Grey Heron - 1 - Sat motionless on farmland. ; Coot - 2 ; Moorhen - 1 ; Tawny Owl - 1 - Roosting. ; Red-legged Partridge - 4 - On farmland. ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - Flew over small course pond. ; Song Thrush - 2 ; Chiffchaff - 2 - 1 singing. ; Goldcrest - 1

• Silverwood Lagoon: Whooper Swan - 2 - in E calling at 08:15. First attacked by resident Mutes and chased into reeds. Fate unknown, but stopped calling. • Totley: Willow Tit - 1 - singing at Hollin Hill by footpath between Balsow Road and Lane Head Road (south of Rifle Range)
• Upper Booth: Meadow Pipit - 1+ ; Jackdaw - 30+ ; Raven - 1 ; Curlew - 1 - In pasture. ; Rook - 4+ - rooks and rookery here ; Woodpigeon - 2 - feeding in field ; Pheasant - 1 - male ; Goldfinch - c10 ; Chaffinch - 2 ; Long-tailed Tit - 2+ ; Blue Tit - 1+ - going in to nest hole in wall of stone building ; Treecreeper - 1 ; Kestrel - 2 - Pair together ; Chaffinch - 1 ; Wren - 1 ; Meadow Pipit - 10+ ; Coal Tit - 2 ; Carrion Crow - 2
