Silverwood Lagoon: Mute Swan - 1+ - female and 6 cygnets, male mysteriously disappeared a couple of days ago ; Little Grebe - 8+ - including two pairs feeding young ; Reed Warbler - 2 - still a couple singing ; Grey Partridge - 2 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 2 ; Kestrel - 1

Stannington garden: Coal Tit - 4 - Adult with 3 fledged young feeding them with tasty seeds from my xmas tree ; House Sparrow - 6 - 2 adults with 4 young ate at home in the thick brambles! ; Great Tit - 4 - Adult with 3 fledged young ; Greenfinch - 2 - Male and female at the feeder. First time in the garden for months ; Chaffinch - 1 ; Blue Tit - 6 - Adults with 4 fledged young ; Blackbird - 3 ; Bullfinch - 1 - male bird at the feeder late evening

Catcliffe Flash: Mandarin - 1 - eclipse male landed on Tern rail in evening, still there 9pm. ; Black-headed Gull - 10 - inc red/orange colour ringed bird, ringed at Belvide Resr in 2019.

Low Common: Lapwing - 5 - 4 S, joined briefly by resident breeder(dispute)

Middle Common: Lapwing - 1 - feeding alongside 9 Black- Headed Gulls close to Rockingham Wood

Morley Pond: Great Crested Grebe - 1 ; Mute Swan - 1 - Adult by island @W end. ; Mallard - 10+
