Rother Valley CP: 324 - 1 - Chinese Soft Shelled Turtle. Sat on rock in reserve Lake.

St Georges Church: Peregrine - 1 - TRF a youngster from 2020 returns to the box.

Stanage: Pink-footed Goose - 40+ - headed south at around 08:45

Big Moor: Stonechat - 4 - 3 ad, 1 juv Lady's Cross ; Whinchat - 1 ; Pink-footed Goose - 21 - Over calling, E then N then NE 12:00 ; Peregrine - 1

Brinsworth: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Over circling, moved Southward 12.05

Carr Vale Nature Reserve: Hobby - 1+ - at least one over the NW end of the reserve

Firsby Res: Peregrine - 1 - On pylon between reservoirs and ponds, mobbed by Mistle Thrushes. ; Mistle Thrush - c30 - On stubble below pylon, 10 mobbing Peregrine on pylon. ; 319 - 4 ; Kestrel - 2 ; Grey Heron - 3 - Roosting on stubble field. ; Chiffchaff - 4 ; Yellowhammer - 2 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 5 - Over East ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - On dead tree at side of Arbour Lane.

Peter Fidler Country Park: Marsh Tit - 2 - calling at various points on northern side of embankment separating Peter Fidler CP and Carr Vale Nature Reserve ; Willow Tit - 2 - in same area as the Marsh Tits (northern side of the embankment) ; Cetti's Warbler - 1

Rawmarsh Cemetery: Tawny Owl - 2 - male calling 0145-0155hrs; m & f 'duetting' around 0320hrs

Redmires Top Res: CASPIAN GULL - 1 - 1cy, unringed ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - c40 - inc Norwegian CR 2cy, ringed Oslo 2021.
