Agden: Stonechat - 12+ - all feeding and chasing each other, never seen this many all together before.

Burbage: Black Redstart - 1 - 08:40 - 200metres south of main car park at upper Burbage bridge.

Burbage Valley: Red Grouse - 5 - 5 singles throughout valley ; Meadow Pipit - 120+ - Mostly down. c 30+ SW ; Skylark - 1 - Flew S ; Whinchat - 2 ; Stonechat - 4+ ; Wheatear - 1 ; Chiffchaff - 1 - singing in plantation

Canklow Woods: Siskin - 1 - 1 south

Ecclesall: Swift - 1 - Flew S at 09:15 hrs ; Swallow - 50 - c. 50 south ; Meadow Pipit - 40 - Flew S

Flanderwell: Red Kite - 1 - Drifted west at 1305 ; 319 - 5

Heeley: Black-headed Gull - 100+ - overhead on & off in an obvious feeding frenzy 15:15-17:00. ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - c10 - briefly in with BHG's ; Swift - 2 - together briefly in with gulls 17:00. ; Common Buzzard - 2 - drifted over towards Norfolk Pk.

Houndkirk Moor: Kestrel - 2 - two adult males fighting for nearly five minutes, much talon grappling. ; Meadow Pipit - 70+ - mostly flying SW ; Stonechat - 3+ ; Siskin - 9 - flew SW

Kimberworth Park: Chiffchaff - 1 - singing from Roughwood Way. ; Black-headed Gull - 30+ - circling low over Remount Road/Shearman Avenue @ 15:30. ; 319 - 1 - in from E then soared over Roughwood School for several mins @16:00.

Lady Canning*s Plantation: Swallow - 2 - SW ; Spotted Flycatcher - 2 - record shot

Orgreave Lakes: Stonechat - 4 - 3 males 1 female type between tip and small lake. ; Swift - 2 ; Meadow Pipit - C.100 - A steady trickle of birds south between 07:30 and 09:00 ; Shoveler - 1 - Female ; Curlew - 1 ; Swift - 2

Silverwood Lagoon: Green Sandpiper - 1 - in briefly at 09.40 then south
