  • Norfolk Heritage Park: Blue Tit - at least 15 ; Great Tit - at least 8 - some "singing" males ; Coal Tit - 2 ; Magpie - at least 22 ; Goldcrest - 3 ; Goldfinch - c30 - a flock and a couple of more solitary ones ; Collared Dove - 2 ; Blackbird - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 6+ ; 319 - 1 - being mobbed by crows and magpies ; Black-headed Gull - 5 - feeding on playing field ; Wren - 1
  • Redmires Res: Black-headed Gull - 1150 - Roosted on Top Res - record winter count ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 - Ad roosted with BHGs - rare in winter here ; Greylag Goose - 11 - in fields on Soughley Lane ; White-fronted Goose - 1 - first-winter again in fields on Soughley Lane with Greylags late afternoon
  • Silverwood Lagoon: Mallard - 8 ; Gadwall - 2 ; Tufted Duck - 3 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 ; Black-headed Gull - c.30 ; Snipe - 1 ; Kestrel - 1 ; Rook - 11 - in fields to west ; Jay - 3 ; Bullfinch - 2 ; Goldcrest - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 15 ; Meadow Pipit - 2 ; Reed Bunting - 4 ; Song Thrush - 1 - singing near Hollings Lane entrance ; Goldfinch - c.20 ; Great Tit - 2 - singing

  • Bents Green: Herring Gull - 2 - High Storrs playing fields
  • Brightholmlee: Barn Owl - 1 - hunting over fields at dusk ; Black-headed Gull - 400/500 - flying up valley past Wharncliffe Side and then turning abrupt left up Ewden valley towards Morehall and Broomhead Reservoirs ; Lesser Redpoll - 08-Dec ; Kestrel - 1 - on power line in area of barn owl ; Rook - 20/30 ; Jackdaw - 30+ ; Woodpigeon - 2
  • Broomhead/Rushy Wood: Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - male two swoops through feeding area both failed ; Blue Tit - 04-Jun ; Great Tit - 3 ; Coal Tit - io/15 - large numbers on both lots of feeders ; Robin - 5 ; Chaffinch - 2 - both females ; Blackbird - 8 ; Dunnock - 1
  • Canklow Woods: 319 - 3 - Over woods moved South towards Brinsworth 14.30
  • Ecclesall Woods: Green Woodpecker - 1 - Yaffling ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 5+ - In a 2.5km circuit. Two drumming. Much interaction. ; Nuthatch - 12+ - In a 2.5km circuit. ; Jay - 6 - In a 2.5 km circuit.
  • Endcliffe Park: Kingfisher - 1 - upper lake
  • Fulwood garden: Brambling - 2 - around feeders ; Greenfinch - 12 - around feeders - my highest count here ; Goldfinch - 13 ; Chaffinch - 5 ; Bullfinch - 3 - 2m ; Collared Dove - 2 ; Great Tit - 2 ; Blue Tit - 6 ; Blackbird - 8 ; Herring Gull - 2 - over ; Woodpigeon - 5 ; Feral Pigeon - 15 - regular flock, including one repeatedly chasing off Woodpigeons from under feeders
  • Graves Park: Ring-necked Parakeet - 2 ; Goosander - 1 ; Mandarin - 4 ; Nuthatch - 4 ; Mistle Thrush - 1 ; Goldfinch - 4 ; Long-tailed Tit - 3+
  • Green Moor: Redwing - 80+ - At least 80 feeding in a single field with 5+ Fieldfare ; Fieldfare - 5+ - With large group of Redwing ; Tree Sparrow - 7
  • Lodge Moor Road: Common Gull - 1 - single bird with 1 BHGull roadside fields
  • Manor Fields Park: Kingfisher - 1 - top pond at 16:00. ; Moorhen - 5 ; Mallard - 3 ; Long-tailed Tit - 15+ - mobile round site.
  • Peat Pits: Golden Plover - 386 ; Lapwing - 1 ; Stonechat - 2
  • R Don, Stevenson Rd: Great Black-backed Gull - 17 - inc 4 birds picking up and walking around with beaks full of moss and vegetation. ; Meadow Pipit - 1
  • Ringinglow: Starling - 110 - Feeding in fields ; Redwing - 3 - with starlings ; Mistle Thrush - 1
  • Rivelin Valley: House Sparrow - 1 - In observers garden . First for several months ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 ; Nuthatch - 1 ; Blue Tit - 6 ; Great Tit - 3 ; Coal Tit - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - 2 ; Wren - 1 ; Blackbird - 2
