Silverwood Lagoon: Goosander - 2 - 2 redheads SE at 07.25 ; Pink-footed Goose - 10+ - heard distantly to south (Flanderwell/Wickersley) at 09.30 ; Sparrowhawk - 1 ; Long-tailed Tit - c.30 - three flocks. Just about only small passerines about on pit top at moment

Stanage Edge: Pink-footed Goose - 70 - 70 W @ 10.05

Thrybergh Tip: Shoveler - 12 ; Cetti's Warbler - 2 - Calling. ; Mallard - 25+ ; Gadwall - c30 ; Tufted Duck - 7 ; Little Grebe - 1 ; Great Crested Grebe - 2 ; Mute Swan - 3 - 2 adult 1 juvenile ; 319 - 2 ; Water Rail - 2 - 2 altogether inc one squealing from reedbeds ; BITTERN - 1 - Flew across flash from Bar Mill side reedbed to thick reed cover next to R Don near Iron bridge. ; Marsh Harrier - 2 - Female/juv over flash then a juv male circling over flash, went in same direction as female toward Roundwood. Cream-crown returned chased by a Buzzard before going back towards Roundwood. ; Kingfisher - 2 - flew round flash then over towards R Don. ; Jay - 4 ; Cormorant - 3
