Tinsley Locks: Grey Wagtail - 2 - Pair at Tinsley lock 10.10.

Totley, Moss Road: Willow Tit - 1 ; Yellowhammer - 1 - Male ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - Male on feeders

Waterthorpe: Pied Wagtail - 4 - Adult male feeding three chicks raised under neighbours solar panels. ; Pied Wagtail - 4 - Another picture ; Starling - 18 - 8 chicks with adults ; Blue Tit - 2 - Constant trips to nest box feeding chicks. All sightings in recorders garden.

Wharncliffe Side: Starling - 5 - 2 adults with 3 recently fledged juveniles in observers garden

White Edge: Red Kite - 1 - seen frequently early to mid morning

Wyming Brook: Wood Warbler - 1 - vocal and showing well around 200~300m beyond junction with lower track

Firsby Res: Grey Heron - 1 ; Swift - 7 - Low over site. ; Swallow - 3 - with Swifts. ; House Martin - 2 ; Blackcap - 8+ - Inc female with 5 newly hatched chicks. Previously reported chicks now fledged. ; Chiffchaff - 2 ; Willow Warbler - 4 ; Reed Bunting - 1 - Singing Male. ; Song Thrush - 1+ - Singing Male ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - Calling in woodland. ; Black-headed Gull - 1

Froggatt Wood: Wood Warbler - 1 - singing male

Green Moor: Linnet - 1 - garden tick ; Yellowhammer - 4+ - Including a juvenile - bred ; House Sparrow - 20+ - Including many fledglings - bred, at least two families ; Tree Sparrow - 10+ - Including juveniles being fed - bred, at least one family

Greystones garden: Starling - 15+ - 14 Juveniles in observer's garden ; Great Tit - 2+ - Parents feeding 3 juveniles

Hillsborough football ground: Swift - 25 - Wheeling over the river

Orgreave Lakes: Sanderling - 1 ; Dunlin - 1 ; Ringed Plover - 1 ; Arctic Tern - 1 ; Sanderling - 1 - still present in bay at SE corner of large lake at 16.00hrs ; Yellow Wagtail - 02-Mar - 2 or 3 around the small lake ; Sanderling - 1 ; Dunlin - 1 ; Arctic Tern - 1 ; Great Crested Grebe - 5 - Pair with juvs.

Thrybergh CP: Common Tern - 2 ; Oystercatcher - 2 ; Kestrel - 1m - Male with prey off dam ; Reed Warbler - 2 ; Blackcap - 5 ; Chiffchaff - 2 ; Willow Warbler - 1 ; Mute Swan - 64 +4y/5y - One pair down to just 4 cygnets from 8 the other still have 5 ; Red-legged Partridge - 2 ; Swallow - 10 ; Sand Martin - 8

Wadsley: Swift - 5 - Feeding low over gardens

Barbrook Pools: Tufted Duck - 6 - 3 males, 3 females, all appeared to be paired up

Beauchief Golf Course: Grey Heron - 1 - Over ; Swift - 1+ ; Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 ; Hirundine - 20+ - very high

Big Moor: QUAIL - 1 - singing from juncus patch at northern end

Big Moor & Totley Moss: Red Kite - 1 - over Totley Moss at 06.55hrs then over the northern end of Big Moor at 09.59 before heading over Totley Moss again
