  • Norfolk Heritage Park: Mistle Thrush - 2 - At least 1 singing. ; Redwing - 2 - Making 'zeet' call from tree canopy. ; 319 - 1 - Flying back and forth over a quieter part of the football field. ; Carrion Crow - 1
  • Onesmoor: Barn Owl - 1 - particularly dark bird hunting at dusk - not guttata though
  • Owlthorpe: Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 - seen and heard near orchard ; Woodcock - 2 - flew from long grass ; Bullfinch - 10+ - Heard calling over during walk. ; Greenfinch - 5+` - calling. ; Jay - 2 - `during walk on Owlthorpe Fields.
  • Redmires Top Res: Black-headed Gull - 1,210 - Approx roosted ; Common Gull - 1 - Adult roosted with BHGs
  • RVCP: Little Egret - 9
  • Thornseat Delf: Goldcrest - 5 - c.
  • Whiston Meadows Flash: Siskin - 10 - Feeding alongside a flock of Goldfinches.
  • Wire Mill Dam: Redwing - 7
  • Wortley: Song Thrush - 1 - Brief song ; 319 - 3

  • Attercliffe: CASPIAN GULL - 1 - 1w on roof Warren St ; Dipper - 1 - metal ringed bird just below Norfolk bridge. ; Peregrine - 1 - Bernard Road incinerator building, first I've seen here since last spring. ; Great Black-backed Gull - 15
  • Bradfield Dale: Dipper - 1 - singing on Dale Dike
  • Breck Farm: Fieldfare - 25 ; 321 - 1 - On flood waters. ; Redwing - 12
  • Crookes Valley Park: Goosander - 2 - male & female
  • Crosspool: Waxwing - 1 - Outside 600 Manchester Rd at 08:20 ; Waxwing - 1 - showing very well in the trees by the houses 602 - 616 Manchester Rd, 12.30-12.45 ; Redwing - 3 ; Mistle Thrush - 1 ; Waxwing - 1 ; Waxwing - 1 ; Waxwing - 1 ; Waxwing - 1 ; Tawny Owl - 1

  • Holmesfield: Pink-footed Goose - 40 - A distant skein of 40 heading West, viewed from Graves Park

  • Longstone Edge: Brambling - 3+ - At least 3 in flock with chaffinches feeding on beech mast
