Totley Moor: SNOW BUNTING - 1 - still present 10.20-10.25hrs and (other than when flushed by mountain bikes) showing well on the track at SK 28080 79374 (just west of junction with path to Stoney Ridge)

Tyzack*s Dam: Wood Duck - 1 - female Wood Duck still present

Wadsley Common garden: Shelduck - 2 - Over west-first record here.

Wire Mill Dam: Fieldfare - 1 - male singing ; Mandarin - 18 - m + f

Baslow: Bullfinch - 4 - Two pairs visiting feeders ; Siskin - 2 - Pair visiting feeders

Botanical Gardens: Carrion Crow - 25+ - Including 15 feeding together near fossil tree

Brightside: Ring-necked Parakeet - 45-50 - Came to roost c16:05 ; 324 - 1 - Prob male Alexandrine Parakeet with ring-necks and poss female - twice size of rnp's.

Chatsworth Park: Brambling - 25+ - Feeding on beech mast with a few chaffinches

Deepcar garden: Siskin - 2 - first this year ; Greenfinch - 2 - feeding on black sunflower seeds ; Woodpigeon - 5 - feeding on sunflower hearts dropped by Goldfinches ; Goldfinch - 11 ; House Sparrow - 7 ; Dunnock - 1 ; Magpie - 2 ; Jackdaw - 5 ; Starling - 15+ - 15-20

Ecclesfield: Goose sp - 8 - Flying south west at 14.15

Green Moor: Redwing - 60+ - At least 60 in a single flock and feeding on farmland

Rivelin Valley: Tawny Owl - 1 - calling at 18:00

Roundwood Golf course: Siskin - c35 - flock, with Goldfinches ; Goldfinch - c20 - with Siskins ; Fieldfare - 25 - flock, N/NW (largest number seen all winter!)

Salmon Pastures: 319 - 1 - perched in Nature Reserve. Mobbed by crows, numerous gulls put to flight.

Silverwood Lagoon: Black-headed Gull - 400 - c400 in from south from 07.45, most dispersing to north and west by 10.00 ; Common Gull - 2 ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 ; Coot - 20 ; Moorhen - 2 ; Mute Swan - 5
