  • Thrybergh CP: Sand Martin - 1,000+ - Mainly over the water, fighting very cold strong winds. ; Swallow - 10+ - With Sand Martin. ; House Martin - 20+ - Over old filter bed and dam area, ; Fieldfare - 19 - On recently harrowed field adjacent to the site. ; Scaup - 1 - Male, still present accompanying female Tufted Duck.
  • Wadsley Common garden: Tawny Owl - 1 - Hunting over garden at 11:00 for 10 minutes. Never seen one at this hour hunting although regularly heard at night.
  • Wharncliffe Side: House Martin - 5 - Over observers garden

  • Agden Res: Oystercatcher - 1 - on dam wall
  • Agden Rocher: Redstart - 2 - males, not singing. ; Red Kite - 1 ; Willow Warbler - 1 ; Meadow Pipit - c50 - flock ; Sparrowhawk - 2 - pair displaying
  • Barber Booth: Ring Ouzel - 5+ - at least 5 males on slope to the south of Dalehead Bunkhouse ; Whooper Swan - 1 - single flying north east of Dalehead Bunkhouse ; Redstart - 1 - singing to the north of Dalehead Bunkhouse
  • Canklow Woods: Common Buzzard - 3 - 3 in the air together at 1300
  • Fulwood garden: Brambling - 5 - still visiting feeders
  • Graves Park: Tawny Owl - 1 - Roosting
  • Hay Wood: Jay - 1
