• Gleadless: Black-headed Gull - 165 - on football pitches on Gleadless Common 09:30-10:00. ; Herring Gull - 1 - adult briefly with BHG's. left N c09:45. ; Starling - c40 - Mobile amongst BHG's.
• Greystones Garden: Blackcap - 3 - 2M 1F on garden feeders
• Hurlfield: Tawny Owl - 1 - calling 19:15-19:30.
• Langsett: Siskin - 1 - On garden feeder ; House Sparrow - c6 ; Robin - 1
• Listerdale Wood: Common Buzzard - 2 - in plunging display flight
• Low Moor, Upper Midhope: Lapwing - c15 ; Greylag Goose - c20 ; Curlew - c20 - In the field then flew off. ; Oystercatcher - 2 ; Snipe - 2 - Chipping from perches. ; Black-tailed Godwit - c6 - appeared to be sheltering from strong winds, alongside the geese. ; Woodpigeon - c15 - Feeding in flock on ground.
