  • Midhope Res: Mallard - 6+ - at least 3 pairs ; Tufted Duck - 2 - both males ; Little Grebe - 2 - Pair trilling ; 320 - 1 - A pair with Mallards ; Canada Goose - c7 - 6 on water with another 1-2 possibly settled on a nest site ; Curlew - c20 - Flew over Res from east towards Low Moor ; Robin - 4 ; Great Tit - 2 ; Goldfinch - 1 ; Coal Tit - 4 ; Long-tailed Tit - 2+ ; Blue Tit - 2 ; Blackbird - 1 - male ; Greylag Goose - 2 - Flew over Res. towards Low Moor from east. ; Mistle Thrush - 1
