Redmires Middle Res: Curlew - 19+ - flying in a group, contact calling. Adults and juveniles. Sign of a good breeding season?

R Don, Effingham St: Yellow-legged Gull - 2 - 3cy and 4cy on roof ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - c20 - Including N:E23, a 3cy colour ringed at the Forest of Bowland as a chick in 2018, and seeen on Effingham St for it's second summer.

West Nab: Black-headed Gull - 15+ - in fields near Swan cottage ; Carrion Crow - 6 - in fields with sheep at White Lea Crossroads ; Curlew - 2 - Same fields as previous ; Lapwing - 24 - flock circling area ; Swallow - 4+ - 4-6 hunting around cottage ; Swift - 3+ - 3-5 around West Nab farm and mast ; Kestrel - 1 - hunting over west Nab ; Magpie - 2 ; Meadow Pipit - 6+
