Abbey Brook: 337 - 1 - imm came in from N (towards Howden Edge) about 14:15, dropped into roost site area briefly before flying around to S towards Howshaw Tor and then dropping into roost site around 14:30, where it stayed for rest of evening, viewable from S side of Crook Clough.

Agden: Blackcap - 4+ - Pair with newly-fledged young.

Aldwarke; Liberty Steel: Peregrine - 2 - on chimneys & hunting FP co-operatively, briefly. ; Common Buzzard - 1 - over @ 0750hrs

Back Tor, Derwentdale: 337 - 1 - Drifted to within 250m of Back Tor at 07:15 and then intermittently over Howden Moors and Little Howden Moor for 10-15 minutes before disappearing towards Abbey Brook. Record shot, with Kestrel escort. ; 324 - 1 - Mountain Hare

Bramley: Black-headed Gull - 2 - Adult with Juv in McDonald’s car park.

Bramley - Flanderwell Avenue: Black-headed Gull - 5 - Over houses calling @ 21:00PM ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - With prey. ; Kestrel - 1 - Brief hover over gardens. ; Swift - 50+ - Breeding confirmed, 2 chicks in observers loft. ; Robin - 4+ - Pair feeding young in nest in conifer hedge.

Dukes Road: Merlin - 2 - male over the footpath in area of Flint Hill early evening with another bird calling from heather nearby ; Linnet - 6 ; Marsh Harrier - 1 - cream crown, presumably 2cy (+) female hunting over Round Hill ; Red Kite - 1 - over Wet Slack, an later in Abbey Brook checking out the Lammer.
