  • Greenhill: Woodpigeon - 5 - 2 adults and 3 juveniles in garden
  • Hollow Meadows: Kestrel - 2 - hover hunting ; 319 - 2 - soaring over pastures and calling
  • Howbrook: Osprey - 2 - 2 over heading towards Chapeltown/Ecclesfield

  • Rawmarsh Cemetery: Tawny Owl - 1 - male, calling around 0455hrs ; Coal Tit - 1 - singing
  • Rawmarsh; Haugh Road: Black-headed Gull - 28 - max on playing field ; Lesser Black-backed Gull - 3 - max on playing field ; Magpie - 10 - max on playing field ; Rook - 17 - max on playing field ; Starling - 11 - flock, feeding on playing field
  • Redmires conduit: Snipe - 1 - Beyond the pool. Flew up from ditch beside track. ; Red Grouse - 2+ ; Swallow - 6+ - group of 4 and then 6 seen on two separate locations along conduit ; Linnet - 5 - small flock flying over moors and conduit ; Meadow Pipit - 5+ - seen at various places along whole length of conduit

  • Ughill Moors: Marsh Harrier - 1 - probably a juvenile flying E to W over Stake Hill Rd towards Back Tor ; Pink-footed Goose - 45+ - 45-50 flying from Agden Res. SW towards Strines Moor at 11:35 ; Linnet - 6 - flock briefly perched on dry-stone-wall beside Stake Hill Rd ; Kestrel - 1 - hovering
  • Upper Haugh: Pink-footed Goose - c130 - skeins of c110 & 23 E/NE @ 0914hrs
