Silver Wood: 319 - 1 - Perched in tree edge of woodland. ; Tawny Owl - 2 - Pair sat together high in tree tops. ; Nuthatch - 1 - Calling near houses. ; Jay - 1 - Coming to seed. ; Coal Tit - 2 - In undergrowth near Ravenfield Arms. ; Skylark - 1 - Over farmland adjacent to woods. ; Meadow Pipit - 1 - Calling near path to old Ravenfield. ; Yellowhammer - 1 - Male sat in hedge near path to Old Ravenfield.

Wickersley Park: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Through park at speed. ; Siskin - 1 - Single over calling.

Bramley: Waxwing - c30 - noisy flock in trees at end of Spencer Drive at 09:15. Flushed by Sparrowhawk and no further sign by 10:30. No obvious food source in area.

Canklow: House Sparrow - 6 - to garden feeders

Canklow Woods: Raven - 2 - obvious pair over woods at 14:30 mobbed by Sparrowhawk

Chesterfield: Waxwing - 30 - east of Londis on Chatsworth Rd, per DOS

Green Moor: Tree Sparrow - 10 - to feeders

Hassop Station: Waxwing - 250+ - still present this morning per DOS

Kimberworth Park: Feral Pigeon - c20 - on roof, around solar panels, Cinderhill Road ; Jackdaw - 28 - into trees behind Remount Road/ Grey Hill, then over to trees behind Shearman Avenue, SK400948
