Shirecliffe: Redwing - 65+ - inc flock of c50 heading north, a few still in leaf litter. ; Chiffchaff - 3 - singing ; Skylark - 1 - flew over

Silverwood: Nuthatch - 2 - 1 calling, 1 taking mud to nest hole. ; Chaffinch - 3+ - Singing Males.

Sitwell Park Golf Course: Red Kite - 1 - Drifting over golf course towards Wickersley.at 11:30

Totley Moor: Raven - max. 47 - Observed from Blacka Moor. First noted twelve together,with many counts of 30 plus and 39 . About 11.15 noticed numbers building up again with plenty of 40 plus counts and a maximum of 47.

Agden Side: Stonechat - 2 - pair

Arbourthorne: Whooper Swan - 15 - flew over NW calling at 08:02 ; Moorhen - 2 - pair on pond ; Mallard - 8 - on pond.

Middleton Moor: Curlew - 83 ; Golden Plover - 9 ; Common Gull - 150+ - Birds dropping in , others moving north ; Black-headed Gull - 60+ ; Lapwing - 60 ; Peregrine - 1 - Through going north; caused panic in roosting gulls and waders
