Upper Ewden: WHITE-TAILED EAGLE - 1 - On moors towards Margery Hill, made two short flights but largely just sat about.

Agden Side: Tree Pipit - 1 - singing.

Burbage Valley: Red Kite - 1 ; Cuckoo - 1 ; Swallow - 1 ; Ring Ouzel - 2

Cowell Flat: Cuckoo - 1 - female heard calling briefly near Agden Side Road.

Deepcar/garden: Blue Tit - 2 - taking meal worms from table to nest ; Coal Tit - 1 ; Blackbird - 05-Jun - male and females feeding on lawn ; Dunnock - 2 ; Goldfinch - 03-Apr - feeding on sunflower hearts ; Greenfinch - 2 - with Goldfinches ; House Sparrow - 08-Oct ; House Martin - 04-May - not as many as last year yet ; Swift - 3 - late arriving and up to now only3 normally 10/12 flying around in the evening ; Stock Dove - 2 - feeding on lawn ; Rook - 2 - 1 adult and 1 juvenile ; Magpie - 2 ; Jackdaw - 10-Dec

Parkwood Springs: Skylark - 1 - One individual singing above the landfill site again. Same position opposite top view point. ; Goldcrest - 1 - 1 male singing in trees near main entrance.

Rocher Head Farm: Redstart - 1 - male taking food to nest in wall of barn. ; Pied Wagtail - 3+ - adults feeding fledgling(s) on roof of barn. ; Spotted Flycatcher - 1

Rocher Wood: Cuckoo - 1 - male singing.

Spout House Hill: Linnet - 40+ - flushed from hayfield by hobby. ; Hobby - 1 ; Skylark - 3 ; Curlew - 1 ; Lapwing - 5

Stanedge Pole: Red Grouse - 2+ - Pair with 5 small chicks in heather W of the pole
